Topics which we aim to address include but are not limited to aspects of human speech and language production that affect the performance of large foundation models; how large language models cope with different languages, dialects, sociolects and code switching;  how the use of large language models affects language comprehension, as well as speech and language production; what alignment effects occur, and in which time spans; how models need to be designed to better cope with speech and language diversity; how training and fine-tuning affects model performance; and what data and technologies are necessary to better cope with diversity in large speech and language models.
