Questioning what being a part of scientific knowledge production about Africa entails, attendees of the 2023 ASWAD (Association for the study of the wordlwide African diaspora) and ASAA (African Studies Association of Africa) conferences converse about their experiences and challenges.
This film was made as part of the Volkswagen-funded project ‘African Studies in Germany through the lens of Critical Race Theory’ at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development.
